Hi Blair.I have seen that you often do a 5,5,5+ way with heavy exercises. I have not seen that way of training before. Is this a new "training-system" based on science, or something you have find out works for you? Just curious about training "facts"...(I do almost the same but stay at for exampel 5 reps per set until I hit faliure with in 5 reps. For exampel: 5,5,5,3 at approx. 65%, 75%, 85% and 90% of 1RM)Like your blogg. Thanks beforehand for your answer.../ Martin
hey martin, its part of a training program called 5/3/1 by an american guy named wendler. if you google it, you will find plenty of information. i've found it to be very effective thus far.
hey blair, ive followed ur blog for a bit after seeing that u were studying in europe while training for the games. i was wondering what program u were doing and what school it was through? it looked like an awesome experience.awesome job at the games too, hopefully u wont have any injuries to deal with for next year.
hey kyle, the name of the program is the europaeum. it runs through universiteit leiden and is open to anyone. they're always looking for foreigners to enroll if you are interested
